About the VRR |
The Volunteer Road Riders is a motorcycle riding
club based in East Tennessee.
We are organized for the pleasure, recreation, safety, exchange of
information, coordination of common motorcycle efforts, promotion of camaraderie
and friendship of its members. Our purpose is group riding, making new friends,
and having fun. The club is very active with a growing membership. We are a family organization of friends and
people that enjoy the open road and events together in a family atmosphere. We
strive to promote a positive image of recreational motorcyclists. Members come
from all walks of life and ride whatever type of motorcycle they like. We ride
weekly,
often on Saturday and Sunday. We engage in special events
and offer members the opportunity for overnight trips and vacation trips like Biketoberfest. We
do not discriminate based on race, sex, or brand of motorcycle. The club is a pure
democracy and all major issues are voted on at the weekly meetings. Membership
is obtained by completing a membership form and
submitting in person at an official club meeting.
Membership is voted on by a membership committee of 3
people.
Members abide by a set of club and riding rules for the safety of all. There are small annual dues. |
