By applying for membership in the Volunteer Road Riders (VRR) motorcycle riding club, I hereby agree to:

·        Abide by all current club rules, as well as any future rules as may be voted on and adopted by the membership.

·        Conduct myself in a manner that is viewed positively with in the club and with in the community.

·        Refrain from displaying/portraying an “attitude” that is generally not acceptable to the majority of the membership.

·        Submit membership dues as/when required by club rules.

·        Ride my motorcycle in a safe manner and to adhere to all club rules regarding group riding.

·        Not hold the VRR, its’ Officers, its’ members, or affiliated businesses responsible for any accident or injury that may result from any club-related activities.

 

By applying for membership in the Volunteer Road Riders (VRR) motorcycle riding club, I hereby certify:

·        That I have, and will maintain, motorcycle insurance as required by Tennessee state laws.

·        That I have, and will maintain, a current motorcycle license as required by Tennessee state laws.

·        That I am at least 21 years of age (applies only if you are the rider; does not apply to passengers).

 

I understand that:

·        My membership will be considered “probationary” for the first 90 days, after/during which the Membership Committee will make a decision as to the approval/disapproval of my application.

·        Illegal activities of any type will NOT be tolerated and are grounds for immediate dismissal.

·        The VRR is a motorcycle riding club; it supports charitable organizations through fund-raising events; it conducts group motorcycle rides; and it conducts weekly dinner and business meetings.

·        Reasonable participation/attendance at club functions is expected from club members.

 

IMPORTANT: I fully understand that the sport of riding motorcycles is inherently dangerous and as such I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE The Volunteer Road Riders (e.g., The Club), owners and lessees of premises used to conduct club events and each of them, their officers and employees, The State of Tennessee, the dealers, officers, directors, management, officials and volunteers assisting in club events, the sanctioning organization or any subdivision thereof, grounds operators, grounds owner, officials, promoters, sponsors, advertisers; all for the purpose herein referred to as “releasees,” from all liability to the undersigned, their personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of the undersigned, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned is participating in club events.
